Like our past conferences, the 2009 conference promises to be an exciting, information-filled weekend with many opportunities to strategize about employment, advocacy, and community. Whether your interests are in public interest law, government work, working for a large private law firm, or something else, the weekend is a great opportunity to meet and mingle with many lawyers and law students with disabilities who are leaders in their respective fields. We will also be electing leaders for next year, and we are looking for 1Ls and 2Ls with a passion and vision for NALSWD’s future.
The 2009 conference will be held at or near the Crystal City Sheraton in Virginia, in conjunction with the IMPACT career fair for law students with disabilities. We encourage everyone to take advantage of both events throughout the weekend. Registration for the IMPACT career fair is available at: http://www.law.arizona.edu/impact/
We encourage you to book your flights through Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), and we will share conference hotel rate information with registrants by email as soon as we can.
The tentative conference schedule is laid out below. Thank you for your continued interest and participation in NALSWD.
Please feel free to contact with any questions you have. We look forward to greeting you in August!
