Welcome to The National Association of Law Students with Disabilities

The NALSWD is a coalition of law students dedicated to disability advocacy and the achievement of equal access, inclusion, diversity and non-discrimination in legal education and in the legal profession. The future success of NALSWD, which aims to support the growing number of law students with disabilities by providing mentors, studying and survival tips for law school and career advice for the legal profession, depends on the active participation by disabled law students.

NALSWD announces its 2nd annual conference in conjunction with the IMPACT Career Fair for Law Students and Lawyers with Disabilities
When: Friday, August 15 - Sunday, August 17, 2008.
Where: Washington, D.C
What: While 2L and 3L students and lawyers with disabilities interview with employers at IMPACT on Friday, August 15, NALSWD will hold a day-long seminar to assist and prepare first year law students.

While you are in DC for the conference, be sure to participate in the 4th Annual IMPACT Career Fair, on Friday, August 15, at the Sheraton Crystal City Hotel. Law firms and public sector employers will be interviewing law students and lawyers with disabilities from the Classes of 2010 and earlier. While NALSWD welcomes input from everyone, our conference is intended
to be a safe and open space for disabled law students and recent law
