Patrick Dennis, PRESIDENT
Patrick Dennis attends Lewis & Clark Law School and will graduate in 2014. A graduate of the University of Oregon in 2003, Patrick has previously clerked for Disability Rights Oregon and is clerking for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the summer of 2012. He also serves as a member of his school’s academic enhancement admissions committee ad has previously served NALSWD in the positions of conference co-director and membership director. Patrick has a mobility impairment.

Kevin Fritz, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF ADVOCACY
Kevin is a third-year law student at Washington University in St. Louis. He previously worked for then-Senator Barack Obama, interned for Commissioner Chai Feldblum at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and most recently served as a Summer Fellow at Seyfarth Shaw in Chicago, Illinois. Kathryn Carroll, CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
Kathryn Carroll is a 3L at St. John's University School of Law. She volunteers with several advocacy organizations, and does research for nonprofits. She is currently doing research for One Billion Strong. She also interned in the office of Commissioner Chai Feldblum at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission D.C. Office last summer. Kathryn has a vision impairment.

Amelia Wallrich, MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR
Amelia will be a 2L at Northwestern University School of Law. She interned with Senator Durbin in Washington DC through the American Association of People Disabilities, focusing on issues in disability policy and employment. This summer she will extern for Judge Van Bokkelen in the Northern District of Indiana. Amelia has a mobility impairment.

Thomas DeLorenzo, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
After nearly 15 years as an Entertainment Publicist Thomas DeLorenzo decided to make major career change and head to law school. While handling celebrities, DeLorenzo always had a passion for HIV/AIDS related issues. In 2006, The New York Times chose DeLorenzo as one of the five Unsung Heroes in the Battle Against HIV/AIDS for his Project benefiting the hospice clients of the San Antonio AIDS Foundation. In 2008, the San Antonio AIDS Foundation named him their Angel of the Year. In December 2009, Instinct Magazine named DeLorenzo their Inspirational Man of the Month for his work with people living with HIV/AIDS. In August of 2009, DeLorenzo’s alma mater, Hofstra University, named him Alumna of the Month.
Because of DeLorenzo’s personal knowledge of HIV, New York University selected him to be on a panel with other prestigious names such as noted author and television personality, Rabbi Shmuley, and POZ Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Regan Hoffman. The panel led a discussion on AIDS in Africa and why abstinence only does not work. In December of 2009, Hofstra University selected DeLorenzo for their HIV Awareness Week Keynote Speaker. In 2010, Los Angeles’ Being Alive had DeLorenzo speak on potential cure for HIV/AIDS. DeLorenzo also blogs regularly for the HuffingtonPost.com’s politics page, discussing health care from a person with AIDS point of view. His work can also be seen on the very high profile blog, TheBody.com. He has also been a guest columnist for POZ Magazine’s political issue, October 2008. DeLorenzo is also a regular expert for The Today Show. Currently, DeLorenzo studies law at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. This summer, DeLorenzo is interning at Holland & Knight. DeLorenzo founded and is current co-chairperson of the Southwestern Chapter of Law Students for Reproductive Justice, is a current board member of the Public Interest Law Committee, and is Entertainment Editor for Southwestern’s Law Commentator, the online and print newspaper for the school. David Beverly, CONFERENCE DIRECTOR
Currently, David studies at American University Washington College of Law in Washington, DC. David has served as a Law Clerk for the Auditor Master, Louis Jenkins at the District of Columbia Superior Court. Also, he has interned at the National Football league Players Association, working for the Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs, George Atallah. In addition, he is a Council on Legal Education Opportunity Fellow. David has a hearing impairment.
