As a partner, NALSWD will be represented at the Conference's Diversity Resources Fair by President Angeli Rios on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Washington Court Hotel on Capitol Hill, Washington, DC.

About the Conference
The National Diversity Pre-Law Conference & Law Fair is a free event designed to connect diverse aspiring lawyers from across the nation with game-changing information, networking opportunities, leadership training, and law school & career success resources all in one place. The Conference is unique in that it openly discusses those issues that impact access, persistence and success of diverse aspiring lawyers. It talks about the added challenges presented by race and ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation and gender identity, and disabilities.
In addition, the Conference goes further than traditional pre-law programs by offering attendees seminars in diversity leadership, coalition building and collaboration, and cultural competency so they can have the necessary guidance, tools, and strategies to take on leadership roles in the area of diversity and inclusion in their respective law schools – and then once they become members of the bar. Further, the Conference provides opportunities to gain exposure to knowledge on the importance of, and in some cases get hands-on experience, in the areas of service and social justice.
